Q. Why is there frosting or sweating on my candle?

There are two natural characteristics that may occur in soy wax candles: frosting and sweating. Frosting refers to the crystalline appearance that can develop on the surface of the candle, while sweating refers to the release of small droplets of moisture on the surface.

These occurrences are commonly observed in soy wax candles and are a result of the natural composition of soy wax. These characteristics do not affect the quality or performance of the candle in any way, and they are not indicative of a flaw or defect. They are simply natural and inherent to the properties of soy wax.

At The Light Monster Studio, we strive to provide you with the highest quality products, and we take every measure to minimize frosting and sweating during the making and transportation of our candles. However, please be aware that these natural phenomena may still be present.
